Cody Medical Foundation awards several types of scholarships and grants each year.
Supporting Our Students
The Cody Medical Foundation’s scholarship program, started in 1994, has awarded over $290,000 to college students who major in a medically related field. The program annually approves ten to fifteen $1,000 grants. Many of these students have come back to Cody to practice medicine. In addition, the Coe Memorial Scholarship gives $3,000 to an outstanding Cody High School or Meeteetse graduate.
$1,000: Fifteen to twenty-five $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students pursuing degrees in the medical field each year. Students can apply for this scholarship annually.Apply Now!

SUPPORTING OUR Community
The Cody Medical Foundation’s charter requires that it’s activities enhance and benefit the medical needs of West Park Hospital District, which serves the towns of Cody and Meeteetse. The foundation is committed to the hospitals educational goals, to improving community health and to providing access to care. In recent years, the foundation has:
- Made loan guarantees and paid moving expenses for medical professionals who relocate to Cody.
- Assisted with the recruitment of physicians and other professionals to West Park Hospital and Yellowstone Park Medical Services.
- Sponsored or supported Special Olympics, Yellowstone Behavioral Health Center, Children’s Recource Center, Cody Senior Citizens and Northwest Wyoming Family Planning, Bright Futures, Seedlings Center, Planetree Health Resource Center
- Helped support the Cancer Treatment Center, Cody Quad Center, and the Serenity Garden.
